Nah you're good! I'm totally cool with that level of suggestion/manipulation.
My stance on powers of suggestion etc is basically: No permission necessary for minor stuff, but the more OOC whatever's being asked of him is, the less likely it is to work. Overriding a failure or anything with significant IC consequences I'd want to discuss.
